In January, I sat with the leadership team of a major U.S. health system.
One department had 100% annual turnover!
Patient complaints stacked up.
Surveys tanked.
Staff burned out and quit.
The cost? Over 3 million dollars every year just to keep the wheels spinning....hiring, training, replacing, repeating.
The CFO knew it. She joined every meeting. Asked sharp questions. Wanted more advice. But when it came time to act, she froze.
I’ve seen this before. In other organizations, small hinges swing big doors. A cultural reset. Clear accountabilities. Better training. Improved hiring. That’s how you stop the bleeding and save millions.
But now it’s September, and recent headlines tell the story. Nothing has changed. Same complaints. Same exhausted staff. Same 3 million dollar drain.
That is decision paralysis. And it is lethal.
Different industries, same pattern. Problems don’t fix themselves. They compound until someone at the top finally says, “no more.”
If you’re ready to break the cycle, let’s talk.
