A CEO recently told me he was abandoning his company's new sales strategy after just six weeks.
Six. Weeks.
This isn't unusual. I regularly see companies invest substantial time, energy, and money into sales transformation efforts only to abandon them before they've had any real chance to work.
One manufacturing client spent $180K on a new CRM, only to scrap it after 10 weeks because "the team wasn't using it consistently."
Another invested heavily in sales training but gave up after one quarter because "we didn't see immediate revenue lift."
The truth? Most sales initiatives fail not because they're wrong, but because they're abandoned prematurely.
In today's video, I share the three non-negotiable rules for giving your sales transformations a fighting chance...
What sales initiative have you given up on that might have just needed more time to work?
Or what strategy did you stick with that eventually paid off after a slow start?
If you'd like, share your experience in the comments.
