A couple years ago, I received a text from my mother that simply read: "Grandpa passed."
My heart dropped. I broke down immediately and shared the news with my wife.
After an emotional moment, I texted my mother back in all caps, a bit annoyed she decided to tell me this in a TEXT!
Her response was...let's just say...unexpected.
